Getting a few more things started/ticked off
06. Sent off for new passport. However, going to get the photos taken caused me to fall over on the ice, so I will spend the next 10 years looking very cross and scowly because my bottom hurt
44, 45 and 46 are going well - taking in packed lunches, eating 5 a day and drinking 2 litres of water most days
47. Yogurt is in the fridge and being used
51. I did this morning - gave blood and have diaried 4 months time for the next session - and they also said they might call me as they get very low on blood groups (I'm B -ve)
84, 86, 87 and 88 are also being done - and I and the house both smell more fragrant
68. Catching up on my Photo-a-Day - I've been taking the pics but not uploading them - must get better at this!
Really enjoying this project so far - and have recruited at least two other friends!

2. 101 things in 1001 days - Day Five
Well, I'm happy to report that I've made a positive start!
I'm up to date with:
68. HPAD - photo a day for every day in 2010
88. Using hand cream every time I wash hands at home - by strategically placing tubes of hand cream next to the bathroom basin and kitchen sink, which also links into:
86. Use "smellies" given as gifts as both the hand creams were in pampering packs
74 and 96 are proving easy (cat cuddling and doing something nice for Paul), although I will probably have to stop telling him that this is his "nice thing for the day" as he might kill me
34 and 46 (water drinking and Wii Fit) are also going well, we're Wii'ing every other day for 30 minutes each, so it's getting Paul into it as well
43 is completed - I bought a recipe collector from WHSmith and cut out all the Slimming World calendar recipes and put them in
37 (losing first stone) is also under way - I'm actually sticking to the SW eating plan this time - and eating much healthier than I normally would - yay!
40 is also done (register with Slimming World Club website) and I'm now posting my food diaries on there which also helps
Now need to get on with the food planning and trying new recipes
I bought The Art of Crotchet magazine, and so my friend Judi and I are going to compare "First squares" next Tuesday
I think that's about it for today!

01. 101 things in 1001 days - Day Zero
Well, this is my first time as a blogger (although there are several Smints in Germany, as I found out when I did a quick search)
So, 101 things in 1001 days
There are a few big ones in there for me - which is find a new job for myself (I'm in the redeployment pool at work) and help Paul find a new job. Also, to have some kind of physically challenging adventure with my friends - this is to be decided shortly
However, this does mean I need to get fit. Having had an enforced break from running due to tendonitis, I hope to get back into training for 5K/10K/half marathon within 1001 days, supplemented by the Wii Fit/EA Active Sports training (watching my husband hula hoop is certainly good for my stomach muscles - laughing!)
I've also committed to Photo A Day and to improve my camera knowledge - and start to learn about Paul's DSLR
But they're all things I want to do or (in the case of decluttering the house) need to do, so I'm looking forward to it - and can now tick off one thing from the list!
